‘Hello Shearites! Once again, it’s the annual NUS Flag Day!This year, it’ll be held on 7th August 2007 and we hope every single one of
you can come down and help out! There are 20 different beneficiaries, that
cater to people of all ages and all walks of life, who would benefit
greatly from the donations collected this year.Just a little effort on your side can bring much joy and smiles to the
recipients of the donation! Do your part as a member of the society and
please think of the many happy faces on the beneficiaries upon receiving
the donations you raised for them. (:Furthermore, Flag Day also constitutes 60% of the marks for the Rag and
Flag competition so the Raggers need your help too! They’ve been working so
hard for the past 3 months and you can do your part as a fellow Shearite!
So please do come down on the 7th August and contribute to the amount of
Flag donations!!!We’ll be chartering buses to 5 different locations, Jurong, Woodlands, Ang
Mo Kio, Outram and Eunos. This would make travelling to the
different places for flagging much easier and convenient for all of you.Besides all these. supper will also be provided at the end of the day! We
will never forget your welfare in the midst of you doing all your best for
he beneficiaries and helping them raise funds on such a meaningful day!On behalf of the 20 beneficiaries, I am appealing for your kind support and
hopefully you would come down for Flag Day 2007! Every one of you can make a difference and I really appreciate every single dollar and cent that you
